Introduction

Welcome to About a Boy, a webring designed to link together dedications (both shrines & fanlistings) to the men and boys from anime/manga. The internet has dozens of rings already around for "anime girls"; in which you can find shrines to the ladies of anime. However, there really hasn't been much in the way of webrings for the males of animanga. Hence this ring was born.

If you own a high-quality shrine, fanlisting, or some other assorted site-dedication to a male character from anime/manga; then please feel free to look around, and join if you're interested!

Rules

Like most rings, this one has rules. If you'd like to join please make sure you read over and abide by them. It'd be appreciated. If you apply and your site doesn't meet these requirements then I will delete it from the queue.

1) Your site must be a character shrine or character fanlisting wherein the persona it focuses on is male. I will not accept general series sites or shrines to female characters of any kind (if your enshrined character is female I recommend joining Shield Maiden instead). However there are no character age restrictions; shrines to males of ANY age will be accepted.

2) Content. I'd like your shrine to be in a decent state. No "coming soon" pages - site must be up and loved. I will only accept well researched, well-maintained shrines.

3) You must put the code up after you submit your join form. It is important your ID number is correct as well (please keep that in mind).

54 Every three to six months I do a complete check of ring sites. I will remove any sites that no longer have a valid URL, no longer display the ring code, or contain a multitude of broken links. This is to maintain the ring standard so please update your listing should your shrine's details change.
