Nora is a first generation Neo-gene and an NSWF personal assistant working with Furumizu. A woman of few words (and of no fixed surname), Nora performs a variety of tasks for her Father. These range from booking appointments right through to fighting battles in her Cloneblade form. Nora seems to be considered a powerful Neo-gene (as she protects Furumizu) but she feels inferior to Reina, the strongest first generation.
The pair only really interact when Nishida "borrows" Nora in the hopes of retrieving Rihoko for experimentation. Never one to idly by when something is happening to her daughter, Reina intercepts Nora just as she is about to kidnap the child.
Reina: What are you planning to do?
Nora: I wouldn't know. My job is to take her back with me.
Reina: She is my child. Keep your hands off her.
Nora: Father is quite disapleased by your actions.
Reina: Is that so? I still won't hand her over.
Nora: To be honest, I've always wanted to have at it with you. To see just how good the supposedly strongest Neo-Gene is...
It is during her brief altercation with Nora that Reina's blade begins to crack for the first time. In spite of this, Reina defeats her enemy without transforming into Lady again, opting instead to use her hair to impale the rampaging Neo-gene. Nora dies almost instantly before turning to crystal dust.
Later on, Nishida apologises to Furumizu for using Nora in the battle which killed her. Furumizu appears unphased, noting that it was merely "the extent of her level".
relationship
There is little to say about the relationship between Nora and Reina. They only really interact in one scene and even then, it is a scrappy battle with little genuine discussion. Nora expresses clearly that she has always wanted to fight with Reina, over whom she seems to harbour considerable resentment (perhaps because she is Furumizu's favourite daughter). It is possible that their rivalry was formed six years ago, as Nora was one of the Sisters sent to track Reina down after she disappeared with the Witchblade. In the present, Reina only brings herself to care about Nora when she threatens Rihoko, as "It is only natural to protect one's own child".
