As with most other magical girl series,
the heroines' uncanny magical abilities are key elements
in Wedding Peachs. Salvia, like the other
love angels, uses a variety of magical incantations
and items to fight in the ongoing war against the
devils. Here is a handy-dandy list of Salvia's attacks/transformations/items
so you too can learn all about her quirky angelic
powers.
Transformations
"Wedding
EXCELLENT Flower!"
The incantation Scarlet uses to transform into Angel
Salvia. When Scarlet shouts this phrase she immediately
loses her casual clothes, is encircled by glowing
love waves, before being clad in a purple wedding
dress. In English this transformation is also dubbed
as "Excellent Wedding Flower!".
TV Series Transformation.
"Wedding
Change, Oironaoshi! Angel PassionatE Salvia!"
Angel Salvia shouts this phrase to transform into
her Fighter Angel form. She loses the wedding dress
and the Saint Something New fixes itself to her forehead.
A few red bolts of electricity later and she gains
her battle outfit. In English this oironaoshi is also
dubbed as
"Bridal Change, Wedding Dress Transform! Angel
Passionate Salvia!". TV Series Oironaoshi.
"Wedding
EXCELLENT Flower!" DX Version
This version of Sarlet's original transformation phrase
is used in the DX series. Although the phrase is the
same, the sequence is different. As her image flower
glows in the background, a nude Scarlet is clad first
in her wedding dress, then her battle outfit. In English
this transformation is also dubbed as "Excellent
Wedding Flower!". OAV Series Transformation.
Attacks
"Saint
Pure Sword!"
The phrase Salvia shouts to summon her weapon, the
Saint Pure Sword. This is also used as an attacking
phrase when Salvia brandishes her weapon in battle.
TV Series Attack.
"Saint
Pure Sword, Bridal Fire!"
This attack involves Salvia channeling a large quantity
of love waves through her sword, before releasing
them in a blazing frontal assault. TV Series
Attack.
"Jounetsu
no Cake Cut!"
Phrase Salvia uses to releases love waves in quick
succession from her sword. In the manga this attack
looks more like a lightning bolt hitting the intended
victim. TV Series Attack.
"Saint
Twin Sword!"
Salvia shouts this phrase to summon her Twin Swords
which can then be used in battle as either plain weapons,
or devices to emanate love waves. OAV Series
Attack.
"Saint
Grenade Critical, Heart Impact!"
The angels each contribute their love waves to Peach,
who then shoots these concentrated waves at the enemy
with her pistol. Not an individual attack. OAV

ITEMS
Saint
Something New
One of the four Sacred Something items, the Saint
Something New is an elaborate tiara that rests of
Salvia's forehead. In the manga she came to possess
it after borrowing it from her mother to use in a
school play. The final Saint Something to appear,
Salvia's love waves and tiara finally unlocked the
key to using the Saint Something Four in battle.
Saint
Pure Sword
Salvia's primary weapon is a thin rapier which the
angel brandishes with pride. This item can be used
to channel love waves (and send them out in "attacks")
or simply as a normal sword. The Saint Pure Sword
is vital to the execution of Salvia's TV and manga
attacks.
Saint
Twin Swords
In Wedding Peach DX the Saint Pure Sword
is replaced by the Saint Twin Swords, curved dual
blades which vaguely resemble Salvia's original weapon.
Each has a tapered handle with a blue jewel at the
tip and can change length at their owner's will. When
summoned, these weapons materialise from Salvia's
hips.
It is worth noting that Salvia is the
only love angel without a transformation item (like
Peach's Saint Miror, Lily's Saint Lipliner or Daisy's
Saint Pendule). While never openly declared, this
probably owes to the fact that she is a pure love
angel and doesn't need a device to channel love waves
in order to undergo a full transformation.
