Kitajima is a scientist whose entire adult life has been dedicated to studying alien creatures known as dragons. Inhabiting her archetype well, she is arrogant and greedy with little comprehension of humanity. Yet there's a naivety to her character, an irrepressible need for companionship and recognition.
